Examinations start at Class level (from 4 years of age) followed by Primary and Grade One to Six. Vocational grades, Intermediate Foundation to Advanced Two, are available to further develop technical and performance skills. There is also a series of medal tests catering for all age groups.

Murilova Ballet School prides itself on providing equal performance opportunities for our children and adult students. We do encourage students to take part, however they are always optional, but for the vast majority they are the highlight of the year.
Each member of the school is invited to participate in our annual End Of Term Display, which brings the Murilova family together at the end of the summer term, in celebration of the student’s dancing achievements.
We also have a bi-annual show, which allows all of our students the opportunity to perform on stage in a wonderful local theatre. The premise of a ‘Scratch’ performance is that a well-known classical ballet is adopted and adapted it to suit the talents of our dancers. The rehearsals are almost completely done within the students’ usual class time for the duration of just over half a term, with the show being put together on the day of the performance. Past shows have included ‘Sleeping Beauty From Scratch’ and ‘The Nutcracker From Scratch’. Each dancer is provided a beautiful costume for just a £10 hire fee.
